Sebastián, a sharp and clever teenager, runs away from home after being expelled from school, hoping to find solutions to his problems from his absent father. His mother, Luisa, played by Bárbara Mori, is initially unaware of the depth of her son's struggles until she sets out to find him. As she searches for Sebastián, she begins to understand what he truly experiences. The film follows their complex relationship and Luisa's journey as a single mother trying to connect with her troubled teenager.
