Shivers

In David Cronenberg's eerie and unsettling debut feature, "Shivers" (also known as "The Parasite Murders"), a luxury apartment complex outside Montreal becomes a battleground in a bizarre and terrifying struggle for survival. A mysterious parasite, likely an STD, has taken hold of the building's residents, turning them into mindless, sex-obsessed fiends with a primal urge to assault and devour one another. As the infection spreads, the remaining survivors are forced to fight for their lives against hordes of infected "sex maniacs" in a desperate bid to escape the hellish nightmare that has taken over their home.
