In this 1991 Australian business comedy-drama film, Anthony Hopkins plays Errol Wallace, a financial consultant hired to assess a large workforce redundancy at Durmack, an automotive component manufacturer. However, it's his next client, Balls, a small moccasin factory in Melbourne, that changes Wallace's perspective on the value of human dignity and respect in the workplace. As Wallace navigates the complexities of factory life, he begins to question the efficiency expert's role in modernization and finds himself drawn into the lives of the factory workers.
