Mothering Sunday

On Mothering Sunday in 1924, house maid Jane Fairchild finds herself alone on a rare day off, given the chance to spend quality time with her secret lover Paul Sheringham. Played by Odessa Young and Josh O'Connor respectively, Paul is the boy from the manor house nearby, Jane's long-term love despite his engagement to another woman. The film follows their life as they navigate the complexities of their forbidden love amidst the backdrop of post-World War I England.
