Hannibal Brooks

In this 1969 British war comedy film, Oliver Reed stars as Lance Corporal Stephen "Hannibal" Brooks, a British prisoner of war sent to Munich zoo to care for an Asian elephant named Lucy after the zoo is bombed by Americans. With their lives on the line, Brooks and Lucy embark on a series of hilarious and action-packed escapades as they attempt to escape Nazi Germany and reach the safety of Switzerland. Along the way, they're aided by a group of partisans and confronted with betrayal, danger, and heartwarming moments of friendship.
