In the snow-capped High Tatras, a chance encounter brings together four seemingly ordinary individuals from disparate walks of life: two young clerks seeking freedom, two plumbers craving adventure, a contractor drowning his troubles in drink, and a former major struggling with the demons of political persecution. As the night wears on, they share their unfulfilled dreams, shattered illusions, and disappointments, revealing the complex tapestry of human longing in post-communist Slovakia.
