Pierre Manceron (Grégory Gadebois) is dismissed from his prestigious position by the Duke of Chamfort, but finds a new taste for cooking when he meets the mysterious Louise (Isabelle Carré), who becomes his apprentice. As they grow closer through their culinary bond, they create the first restaurant in France, catering to people of all classes and sparking revolution with their revolutionary food. With Louise's talent and determination, Manceron finds a new passion and purpose, but her desire for revenge against the Duke forces them to devise a plan to bring him back to the table.
