Stan and Ollie, two musicians en route to a performance in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, find themselves on a sleeper train with several mishaps unfolding as they travel, including accidental disturbances of fellow passengers and their own struggles to change into pyjamas amidst the chaos. As they near their destination, Stan leaves their main musical instrument behind, prompting Ollie's frantic chase along the tracks.
