A Sort of Homecoming

A Sort of Homecoming is a drama film that tells the story of Amy Hartington's return to her hometown in Louisiana after working as a news producer in New York City. The protagonist recalls her tumultuous senior year of high school and reunites with her debate coach, Annie Landry (Kathleen Wilhoite). As Amy reflects on her past, she also grapples with her adoption and family dynamics, including her complicated relationship with Nick Stayson (Parker Mack), her debate partner.
