Spanish Lake

In 2014, Phillip Andrew Morton directed a bold and unflinching documentary about "white flight" in Spanish Lake, Missouri, a post-WW2 suburb that became a predominantly black population due to rapid economic decline and government policies supporting white exodus. The film chronicles the area's transformation from an exclusively white community to a majority-black population, parallelled by America's growing political divide, racial tension, and rise of anti-government sentiment.
