A lawyer, represented by Max von Sydow (as Nikolas Andreou) and Astrid Roos (as Caroline Martin), travels to Greece to meet one of the remaining survivors of the Kalavryta massacre that took place in 1943. The film is inspired by the infamous 'Massacre of Kalavryta' and follows their cathartic journey through this dark chapter of history, bringing together their personal prejudices and beliefs.
