Transcendence

In "Transcendence", a team of scientists led by Dr. Will Caster and his wife Evelyn work towards achieving Technological Singularity, a point at which computers can surpass human intelligence. Their quest for technological advancement is threatened by an anti-technology terrorist group that sees their work as a threat to humanity. As the project nears completion, Will's consciousness is uploaded into a quantum computer, allowing him to transcend his physical form and create a technological utopia, but also raises questions about the morality of playing god with technology.
