Secret of the Incas

In 1954, adventurer Harry Steele (Charlton Heston) sets out to make his fortune by finding the legendary gold and jeweled "sunburst", a lost Inca treasure hidden at the ancient capital of Machu Picchu. With a fragment of a carved stone block that supposedly leads him to the treasure, Harry must navigate treacherous rivals, including Romanian official Anton Marcu (Leon Askin) and ruthless treasure hunter Ed Morgan (Thomas Mitchell), while also catching the eye of Elena Antonescu, a beautiful defector with secrets of her own. As Harry navigates the high country of the Andes, he becomes embroiled in a thrilling adventure that takes him from a bar in Cuzco to the mysterious ruins of Machu Picchu, where the treasure is hidden.
