When Jess sets sail on a yacht with a group of friends, she cannot shake the feeling that there is something wrong. Jess (Melissa George) prepares to take her autistic son Tommy on a boat trip before boarding Greg's boat in Florida harbor, where they get caught up in a storm and rescue another ship, an ocean liner called the Aeolus. After their boat capsizes, they board the derelict vessel, which appears deserted but proves to be haunted by a killer stalking them.
