Beckenrand Sheriff

A lifeguard tries by all means to keep his home, an open-air swimming pool, from being closed. In a small Bavarian village, Karl Kruse, a disgruntled and unpopular swimmer, must save his beloved Freibad from closure, facing opposition from the Bürgermeisterin, a wealthy businessman who wants to tear down the pool to build luxury apartments, and an elderly woman who insists on "krauling" on the wrong lane. With the help of a quirky waterball team and a Nigerian refugee named Sali, Karl must find a way to save the Freibad.
