Leave No Traces

In 1983, communist Poland is shaken by the brutal beating and death of high school student Grzegorz Przemyk, whose only witness, Jurek Popiel (Tomasz Ziętek), becomes the number one enemy of the state. As Jurek decides to fight for justice and testify against the police, he faces intimidation from the authorities, including General Czesław Kiszczak (Robert Więckiewicz) and his family. The film is based on true events and explores the human cost of a repressive regime, with Barbara Sadowska (Sandra Korzeniak), Jurek's mother, also playing a meaningful role in the story.
