Slapface

Lucas, played by August Maturo, is a boy who finds solace in playing "Slapface" with his brother Tom after their mother's death. In this game, Lucas befriends a dangerous monster named Virago, which he encounters while exploring an abandoned house. As the story unfolds, Lucas struggles to reconcile his friendship with the monster, Anna, and his brother Tom, who becomes increasingly aggressive towards him. The film follows Lucas' descent into chaos as he confronts the dark forces in his life, including the monster that has become his only source of comfort.
