Raquel's life begins as she narrates her story, from her humble abode to its transformation into a grand mansion surrounded by the Hidalgo empire. She has an unhealthy obsession with Ares Hidalgo, one of the three heirs to the empire, and Ares reciprocates his interest, but their budding romance is complicated by family obligations and toxic dynamics. As Raquel navigates her feelings, she must also confront her own desires and find a way to express herself authentically.
