Drive My Car

Yūsuke Kafuku, a stage actor and director still unable to cope with the loss of his beloved wife two years after her death, accepts a residency in Hiroshima to direct a multilingual production of Uncle Vanya at a theater festival. There, he meets Misaki, an introverted young woman appointed to drive his car, and as they embark on road trips together, secrets from the past and heartfelt confessions are unveiled. As Yūsuke struggles to come to terms with his grief, he finds solace in the art of acting and the stories that bring people together.
