Longford

The film tells the story of Lord Longford, a British campaigner who becomes embroiled in the case of Myra Hindley, a convicted murderer serving life imprisonment for her role in the Moors murders. Jim Broadbent stars as Longford in this 2006 biographical drama about his tireless efforts to secure Hindley's parole, despite heavy criticism and personal conflict.
