The Venus Effect

"The Venus Effect" is a 2021 Danish romantic comedy film directed by Anna Emma Haudal, about Liv, played by Johanne Milland, who falls in love with Andrea, played by Josephine Park, a spirited and somewhat older rainbow girl at the beginning of her 20s. The encounter with Andrea sets off a chain reaction of events that leads to an identity crisis, a divorce, a loss of friendship, and ultimately shatters their love. Through this experience, Liv comes to realize that love is mutable and that family can assume many forms.
