Universal Soldier

In 1992, Roland Emmerich directed this military science-fiction action film about Luc Deveraux, a former soldier killed in the Vietnam War who is revived 25 years later by a secret military project called the "Universal Soldier" program. As a semi-android, UniSol, with enhanced self-healing abilities and superior strength, he is deployed as an elite counter-terrorism unit but begins to experience flashbacks that force him to recall his past. With memories of his former life resurfacing, Deveraux becomes increasingly unstable and eventually turns against his handlers, leading to a deadly game of cat and mouse with the authorities and other UniSols.
