In this cheeky 1987 British comedy, Julie Walters stars as Christine Painter, a single mother who takes a bold step to achieve financial freedom by opening a brothel catering to London's wealthy elite. Based on the real-life experiences of renowned madam Cynthia Payne, the film chronicles Christine's rise and fall, from her initial forays into sex work to her eventual success as a daring entrepreneur. With its sharp wit and unflinching look at the seedy underbelly of high society, Personal Services is a raunchy romp that has become a cult classic.
