Big Gold Brick

In a wildly uneven experiment, director Brian Petsos attempts to craft an engaging narrative from the meandering experiences that inspired fledgling writer Samuel Liston to pen a novel called "With Gold Bricks". Despite a talented cast, including Andy Garcia and Oscar Isaac, this black comedy film succumbs to its own quirks, struggling to make sense of its crowded and convoluted plot.
