Girl's Step

The movie "Girl's Step" (, Giruzu Sutupu), released in 2015, follows Azusa Nishihara (Anna Ishii) as she becomes the leader of her school's dance club to fulfill an agreement with a classmate and finds joy and confidence through dance. With the help of coach Kenji Nagao (Karin Ono), who is initially hesitant due to his own mobility issues, the team works together to prepare for a major competition. The film explores themes of friendship, perseverance, and self-expression as Azusa and her teammates navigate their individual struggles and learn to support each other.
