Ladies' Man

The film "Ladies' Man" (1931) follows the life of Jamie Darricott (William Powell), a gigolo whose career is threatened when he becomes attracted to Rachel Fendley (Carole Lombard), the daughter of one of his wealthy clients. As Jamie navigates his relationships with both Rachel and his current partner, Norma Page (Kay Francis), he must confront the consequences of his actions in high society. Meanwhile, Rachel's mother, Mrs. Fendley (Olive Tell), tries to keep her daughter from straying too far.
