Cándida

Cándida is a 2006 Spanish comedy film about Cándida Villar as Cándida, a lowly maid in Madrid struggling to support her two troubled sons, a junkie and a basket case. Her family situation worsens, but her hardships inspire others. Fernando Ransanz plays the Sacerdote de Tanatorio, whose role is not further elaborated. The film was nominated for Best Original Song at the 22nd Goya Awards for "La vida secreta de las pequeñas cosas" by David Broza and Jorge Drexler.
