In this charming 1957 comedy, Jerry Lewis shines as Sidney Pythias, a bumbling janitor mistaken for a gang member who captures the heart of a cop determined to reform him. With Darren McGavin's kind guidance, Sidney navigates his way through the police academy, all while impressing a student nurse and winning over his own doubts - but not before a few mishaps threaten to derail his dreams. This heartwarming tale showcases Lewis' signature wit and endearingly awkward charm, marking his first solo venture after his iconic partnership with Dean Martin.
