Disenchanted with the movie industry, Chili Palmer tries his hand in the music industry, meeting and romancing a widow of a music executive along the way. In this crime comedy, Chili navigates the cutthroat world of hip-hop producers, nightclub owners, and Russian mobsters, all while trying to launch the career of small-time club singer Linda Moon. With its satirical tone and absurd situations, Be Cool is a wild ride that takes aim at the excesses of the music industry.
