Jane (Alexandra Loreth), a writer and young mother, is prescribed rest by her husband John (Joe Mullins) after he takes her to a remote country estate for the summer. Isolated in the bedroom where he has chosen for her, Jane becomes obsessed with the peculiar yellow wallpaper. In her isolation, she secretly writes about a woman trapped in the wallpaper that she must free, delving into themes of patriarchal oppression and female hysteria.
