Be Kind Rewind

In this quirky buddy comedy, Jack Black and Mos Def star as Jerry and Mike, two misfits who band together to recreate lost films after their local VHS rental store's tapes are accidentally erased by Jerry's magnetic mishap. As word of mouth spreads about the hilariously bad "sweded" films, the unlikely duo enlists the help of a local girl named Alma (Melonie Diaz) and her friends to create an alternative history of film. With the government closing in on them, they must use their creativity and resourcefulness to save the store from demolition and put on one final hurrah with a documentary about jazz legend Fats Waller.
