The Little Thief

In post-WWII France, a young and precocious 15-year-old girl named Janine embarks on a journey of self-discovery and independence. Abandoned by her parents, she sets out to improve her circumstances through any means necessary, leading her down a path of crime and romance. With the help of three unlikely allies - a married lover, a fellow thief, and a photographer-turned-mentor - Janine learns to navigate the complexities of love, lust, and survival in a world that seems determined to hold her back.
