The Deceivers

In 19th-century India, a sense of dread hangs over the land as the Thuggee cult, known as the "Deceivers," wreaks havoc through ritualistic murder and robbery. An English military man, Captain William Savage, conceives a perilous plan to infiltrate their ranks, donning a disguise to become one of them and gather intelligence from within. As he becomes embroiled in the Thugs' bloodthirsty world, Savage's own sanity is tested, and he undergoes a terrifying psychological transformation that threatens to consume him whole.
