In a modern retelling of the classic fairy tale Beauty and the Beast, Kyle Kingson, a high school student, is cursed to become a hideous monster after he bullies a witch named Kendra Hilferty. The spell can only be broken if Kyle finds true love by springtime, forcing him to navigate his new identity as a vulnerable and isolated outsider.
