Pacific Adventure

The film tells the story of pioneering aviator Charles "Smithy" Kingsford-Smith, who, despite being injured and decorated by the King during World War I, is determined to make long-haul flights connecting Australia to the rest of the world a reality. With the support of Captain Alan Hancock, he successfully crosses the Pacific in 1928 with Charles Ulm. The film follows Kingsford Smith's subsequent struggles to raise funds, set up his own airline, and achieve further flying milestones, including crossing the Atlantic and attempting to fly from Australia to England.
