The Bubble

The cast and crew of a blockbuster action franchise attempt to film a sequel while quarantining at a posh hotel during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following her problematic role in Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest – Memories of a Requiem, actress Carol Cobb (Karen Gillan) reunites with co-stars Dustin (David Duchovny), Howie, and Sean, but faces awkwardness with Lauren (Leslie Mann). As filming begins, the crew's morale plummets due to script revisions, personal conflicts, and mysterious security threats. A series of chaotic events unfolds, including a character death, a TikTok scandal, and a dramatic escape from the hotel. The cast eventually rallies together and makes a daring getaway in a helicopter, which becomes the subject of a subsequent documentary detailing the troubled production.
