Umma

Sandra Oh stars as Amanda, a single mother living on an isolated farm with her daughter Chris (Fivel Stewart), who is homeschooled and longs to pursue college. When Amanda receives the cremated ashes of her estranged mother, Umma (MeeWha Alana Lee), from Korea, she becomes haunted by memories of her abusive childhood and fear of turning into her own mother. As supernatural phenomena escalate, Amanda's daughter is possessed by Umma's spirit, prompting Amanda to confront her past and ultimately find forgiveness and healing.
