Iron Eagle II

Colonel Charles "Chappy" Sinclair (Louis Gossett Jr.) leads a mixed Soviet/U.S. strike force to destroy a nuclear missile site in the Middle East, as an unnamed Middle Eastern country has completed construction of a nuclear weapons compound capable of launching warheads towards both the United States and the Soviet Union. The joint operation is complicated by the difficulties of cooperation between American and Soviet pilots, including Matt "Cobra" Cooper (Mark Humphrey) and Yuri Lebanov (Alan Scarfe), who had previously engaged in a dogfight that resulted in the death of Doug Masters (Jason Gedrick). Despite these challenges, the team manages to successfully destroy the compound with the help of female pilot Valeri Zuyeniko (Sharon Hacohen).
