The Woman Who Loved Elvis

It's 1982, and Midwestern housewife Joyce Jackson (Roseanne Barr) is obsessed with Elvis Presley; she's even used the King of Rock and Roll's inspiration to turn her house into a wacky shrine. Convinced Presley's still alive, Joyce concocts a plan to find and meet him, and enlists her on-again, off-again husband Jack Jackson (Tom Arnold) to help. When Joyce is assigned a new case worker, Emily Shaw (Cynthia Gibb), the two quickly bond and form a relationship that will change both of their lives, as they navigate Joyce's quirky shrine, her struggles with welfare payments, and their own personal relationships.
