A Chinese Odyssey: Part Three

In the 2016 fantasy comedy drama film A Chinese Odyssey: Part Three, Han Geng stars as Monkey King in a story that takes place in an alternate timeline where Fairy Zixia travels back in time to prevent her demise and Joker's future heartbreak. The film follows Zixia's attempts to make things right with Joker by forcing him into meeting his unrequited love, Bai Jingjing, but ultimately her plan backfires as Joker has already stopped having feelings for Jing-Jing. Along the way, Zixia marries the Bull Demon King and Joker teams up with the Longevity Monk, leading to a series of events that result in Xiang Xiang's interest in Joker growing after witnessing his romance with Zixia, ultimately giving her blessing for their marriage.
