The Sweet Escape

Michel, a 50-year-old man and graphic designer, decides to change his urban lifestyle and embark on an adventure, inspired by his desire to fly an airmail plane, which he fantasizes about when riding a scooter, à la Jean-Mermoz. He becomes fascinated with a kayak that resembles an airplane's fuselage and sets off on a trip, leading to unexpected encounters. Along the way, Michel is joined by Rachelle (Sandrine Kiberlain), who plays a meaningful role in his journey.
