At a house party, Linda Brewster becomes entranced into using her friend's Ouija board alone after it was left behind at her party, unleashing the evil spirit of Carlos Malfeitor, a malevolent serial killer who committed a series of axe murders in the 1930s. As the spirit takes over one of their bodies, Linda's world is turned upside down, leading to a descent into terror and possession. With the help of a psychic medium, she must confront the evil force head-on and uncover the dark history behind her own haunting.
