Dr. Strange

A 1978 American superhero television film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, Dr. Strange is about a psychiatrist who becomes the new Sorcerer Supreme to battle an evil Sorceress from the past. With his newfound powers, he must choose between remaining mortal or becoming a powerful wizard, and can ultimately save the woman held captive by the sorceress, Clea Lake, and defeat her evil plans. The film explores themes of identity, power, and sacrifice as Dr. Strange navigates this new world of magic and confronts his own demons.
