Bright Road

Bright Road is a 1953 film about a new teacher, played by Dorothy Dandridge, who tries to connect with a problem student named C.T. Young, portrayed by Philip Hepburn, at an all-black school in rural Alabama. The story follows her efforts to help him overcome his struggles and eventually finds success when he shows his true potential despite initial setbacks.
