In the 1968 British psychedelic film "Wonderwall," eccentric professor Oscar Collins lives a secluded life in his chaotic apartment, where he becomes infatuated with his next-door neighbour, pop photographer and model Penny Lane. As he drills holes in her walls and ceiling to spy on her, Collins loses himself in daydreams and delusions, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. The film's surrealism is matched only by its visuals, which showcase a jumbled accumulation of modishness, art nouveau, and Oriental bric-a-brac.
