Akaneiro ni yakareru

Ryoko Tanaka (Machiko Ono) is a single mother who raised her son Junpei after his father Yoichi's death in a traffic accident 7 years ago. She now struggles to balance her life as a cafe owner and caregiver for her father-in-law, while dealing with poverty, Covid-19 restrictions, and bullying at school affecting her son. Her care is further complicated by the terminal illness of her partner, Kei (Yuki Katayama).
