"Notte prima degli esami" is a 2006 Italian comedy teen film set in Rome during the summer of 1989. Luca (Nicolas Vaporidis) tries to win favor with his literature teacher Martinelli (Giorgio Faletti), while meeting Claudia (Cristiana Capotondi), who just happens to be Martinelli's daughter. As Luca and Claudia spend more time together, they navigate their summer of fruitless study, personal adventures, and coming-of-age experiences amidst the backdrop of 1980s pop culture.
