Operation Mincemeat

In 1943, two British intelligence officers concoct a cunning plan to deceive Nazi spies into believing the Allies will invade Greece rather than Sicily, dropping a corpse with false papers off the coast of Spain. The body of a vagrant is obtained and given a fake identity, complete with a detailed backstory and personal items, including a love letter from a secretary who becomes embroiled in the operation's success. As the operation unfolds, the team navigates bad luck, suspicion, and espionage, culminating in a pivotal moment that helps turn the tide of World War II. The film is based on Ben Macintyre's true story and features an all-star cast.
