Monstrous

In a 1950s idyll, traumatized Laura (Christina Ricci) and her seven-year-old son Cody flee their abusive past, only to find themselves threatened by a monster lurking in a nearby lake. As reality blurs with delusion, Laura's perception of the world becomes increasingly distorted, leading to a heart-wrenching confrontation with the truth about her lost child. The film builds towards a poignant resolution as Laura finds peace and escapes her delusional world.
