Young Ones

In a future where water is scarce, a farmer defends his land and hopes to rejuvenate his parched soil. His daughter's boyfriend schemes to steal the land for himself. Ernest Holm (Michael Shannon) wins an auction for a robotic carrier machine called "Sim" but finds it missing, leading him on a quest to retrieve it from Flem Lever (Nicholas Hoult), who is transporting stolen supplies with the Sim. As the story unfolds, Ernest's family becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue and violence, ultimately leading to a tragic confrontation that changes their lives forever.
